DECKS

The below guide will help DIY individuals build a deck structure to code.

All wood is pressure treated.
All fasteners are exterior grade to prevent deterioration.
You can attach a free standing deck to an existing structure as long as there is no modification to the load bearing portion of the deck founation and frame.
Decks less than 30” above grade do not require guard rails.
